of New Jersey
The
counties situated in northeastern New Jersey offer a blend
of suburban and urban living. Attractions abound in this bustling

States, the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Newark Bears minor
league baseball team and the birthplace of Thomas A. Edison, just
to name a few.
From
quaint downtown districts to sprawling malls, shopping is plentiful
throughout the region, which is crisscrossed by many major highways
and is located less than a mile from the Garden State Parkway —
and then a short drive south to the beaches along the Jersey Shore
or the mountains to the north. With housing options running the
gamut in style, location and affordability, there is no shortage
of apartments, condominiums, townhouses and single-family homes.
Strengthening the region’s appeal is its
proximity to New York City, sitting just 10 miles to the east, and
Philadelphia, which is easily accessible by car, train or bus.

Care System affiliates located in the northern region of New Jersey.
The
southern affiliates of the Saint Barnabas Health Care System are

that stretch along the Atlantic Ocean and just a short distance
from the region’s other attractions, including the unspoiled
natural preserves at the Gateway National Recreation Area at Sandy
Hook, dozens of parks and marinas, acres of farmland, and numerous
historical sites and recreational destinations.
When you’re looking for some added excitement,
catch a Broadway play in New York City, a concert in Philadelphia,
or try your luck at the casinos in Atlantic City – they’re
all located less than two hours away.
Retail
stores and dining establishments are plentiful, not only in the
many shopping centers that dot the major highways, but in the quaint
business districts that have not lost their small-town charm. Housing
options run the gamut in style, location and affordability —
from apartments and condominiums to single-family residences and
waterfront homes.
The area also boasts a strong educational network
of both private and public schools, as well as institutions of higher
education, including Monmouth University, Georgian Courty College,
